NIMBLE is largely licensed under the BSD 3-Clause license, but our C++ code is licensed under the GPL (>=2) and the package includes external contributions with their own licensing. Please see the COPYRIGHTS file in the package.

Citing NIMBLE

Please cite the Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics article for general purposes, the package if you need to cite a specific package version, or the manual if you need to cite material from the manual.
